We have two leasing periods for student housing. Our school year lease runs from September 16th - June 20th. Our
Summer lease runs from June 21 - September 15th. Move-in dates are flexible according to what is available at the time
but move-out dates never change.
There is a security deposit and it varies according to the type of property that is applied for. The security
deposit on our student housing is always equal to the rent amount. The security deposit on apartments is equal to
1.5 times the rent amount. Security deposits on commercial property are worked out on an individual basis. Security
deposits may change according to credit worthiness.
The security deposit and first month's prorated rent must be paid before a key is issued. If one is renting a room for
$800 and they are moving in on the 16th of the month the total move in cost would be $1200. This would include the $800
security deposit and 15 remaining days in a 30 day month. Rent will commence the day a key is issued.
If your rental unit is considered a double your may have a roommate. All roommates must go through our application
process. Moving someone in without management consent is considered a breach of the lease agreement and could
result in termination. All roommates must sign a lease agreement as well.
